and provide the tools and resources to overcome these factors and improve
the wellbeing of both the employer and employee.

ABOUT WORKPLACE HEALTH WORKSHOPS

Workplace Health is the promotion of combined elements to encourage employers and employees on how to improve the overall health and wellbeing of the company.

These sessions explore the many factors that can decrease the wellbeing in a company and provide the tools and resources to overcome these factors and improve the wellbeing of both the employer and employee.

POPULAR WORKSHOPS

LIFE BALANCE: BOOST WELLBEING & PRODUCTIVITY

This session is designed to assess what life balance means to you and finding the right balance that works for you. Trying to schedule an equal number of hours for work, home and sleep does not equate to balance.

To get the balance ‘right’ for ourselves, we need to understand how our needs are being met (or how they remain unmet) and how we can maintain or move towards balance depending on our current life circumstances.

The objectives of this session are:

  • Defining Life Balance – understanding  what Life Balance means to you
  • Assessing current level of balance
  • Identifying ways to achieve balance
  • Choices for improved life balance
  • Stress Awareness & Productivity
  • Activity Audit – for more efficient working

Duration: 1 hour

REFRAMING NEGATIVE- THOUGHTS & SITUATIONS

With cognitive reframing, you can change the way you look at something and consequently change how you experience it.

This kind of an approach enables you to implement the ancient wisdom that you can’t always control what happens to you, but you can certainly control how you react to different situations – no matter how tough your position might be.

The objectives of this session are:

  • Our natural gravitation towards negativity
  • Bringing awareness to our errors in thought
  • Skills that can help us change perspective
  • What we can do to prime our lives with positivity

Duration: 1 hour

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE – POWERFUL IN THE WORKPLACE

Emotional Intelligence is the capability to understand your own emotions and the emotions of others. Developing this intelligence allows for key benefits, both in the development of personal competences (greater self-awareness for increased self -management) and social competences (social awareness for relationship management).

The objectives of this session are:

  • The Four Essential competences of developing emotional intelligence
  • Exploring the professional and personal benefits of developing EQ
  • The role of IQ & EQ in successful careers
  • Self-assessment – Understanding your approach to work
  • EQ questions to ask yourself and others   

ROAD TO RESILIENCE: PERSONAL & TEAM RESILIENCE

Resilience, the term used to describe the process that one takes to recover from or bounce back after a setback or stressful event. Using a strengths-based approach we explore past resilience, helping participants to identify which behaviours helped them from ‘bouncing back’ and building awareness to areas for personal development.

The objectives of this session are:

  • How to build resilience in stressful situations  
  • How to receive negative feedback
  • How to communicate and analyse team failures
  • The importance of supportive teams  

Duration: 1 hour

GOSSIPING IN THE WORKPLACE

This session focuses on how gossip can be both beneficial, if in a positive manner but negative impacts on our wellbeing if negative.  This session also explores creating awareness around our gossip styles and how this effects individuals within the workplace.

This session will explore the impact that negative gossiping can have on a workplace, such as decrease in wellbeing and an increase in anxiety levels.  We explore how simply reframing our gossip to a more positive style, can bring many positive factors to the individual and to the workplace.

The objectives of this session are:

  • How to become more aware of our gossip style
  • Reframing our gossip to a more positive style
  • How positive gossip creates an environment where people begin to look for the best in each other
  • How positive gossiping can increase social bonding within the workplace

Duration: 1 hour

DIVERSITY & UNCONSCIOUS BIAS

Organisational diversity drives its success, from the early stages of selection and recruitment, to day to day communication and working effectively within teams.

This training provides the opportunity to build on what already exists within your company, by embracing diversity, organisations can enhance teamwork, performance and engagement, all of which will enhance your competitive advantage.

The objectives of this session are:

  • Exploring the benefits of creating a diverse workforce.
  • Understanding how attitudes and biases impact behaviour and decision making.
  • Discover ways to promote diversity within your workforce.
  • Increase self – awareness reflection.
