Positive mental health is characterised by the ability to manage normal amounts of stress, maintain and develop positive relationships, the feeling of being able and competent in leading an independent life and the ability to recover from stressful situations.
This training provides an introduction and overview of positive mental wellbeing and explores the stigma and myths surrounding mental health difficulties. Each attendee will explore behaviours at work which contribute to positive mental health and gain an understanding on the mental health continuum.
Any member interested in learning more about positive mental health and developing tools and techniques that can be used to boost mental wellbeing.
