About our Workplace Health Workshops
Workplace Health is the promotion of combined elements to encourage employers and employees on how to improve the overall health and wellbeing of the company. In these sessions, we explore the many factors that can decrease the wellbeing in a company and provide the tools and resources to overcome these factors and improve the wellbeing of both the employer and employee.

LIFE BALANCE: BOOST WELLBEING & PRODUCTIVITY
This session is designed to assess what life balance means to you and finding the right balance that works for you. Trying to schedule an equal number of hours for work, home and sleep does not equate to balance.
To get the balance ‘right’ for ourselves, we need to understand how our needs are being met (or how they remain unmet) and how we can maintain or move towards balance depending on our current life circumstances.
The objectives of this session are:
- Defining Life Balance – understanding what Life Balance means to you
- Assessing current level of balance
- Identifying ways to achieve balance
- Choices for improved life balance
- Stress Awareness & Productivity
- Activity Audit – for more efficient working

GOAL
SETTING
Effective goal setting helps you choose where you want to go in life, by knowing precisely what you want to achieve and to know where you must concentrate your efforts. This session is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge on how to set goals, common goal setting mistakes and the process that is necessary in order to set effective goals.
The objectives of this session are:
- Effective Goal Setting explained
- Goal setting mistakes
- Setting effective goals and the process involved
- Identifying the obstacles
Duration: 1 hour
STRESS
MANAGEMENT
Stress is experienced when perceived demands (work or personal or combination), outweigh the perceived resources. This session explores the role of the nervous system and the cognitive changes which occur during stress. This session will assist and guide attendees to understand their attitudes towards stress and will provide practical tools to build resilience and manage stress.
The objectives of this session are:
- The role of the nervous system and stress; Understanding the Parasympathetic & Autonomic Nervous System
- Fight, Flight & Freeze responses
- Building awareness of; Behavioural, Emotional, and Cognitive changes which occur during stress
- Exploring personal attitudes to stress
- Understanding productivity and the stress cycle
- Acute and Chronic Stress
- Developing an ‘Early warning System’ to understand the personal impact that stress has on an individual
- Exploring coping strategies to minimise the impact of stress on an individual
Additional elements include – Functions of Stress, burnout, identifying our stressors, anchor routines, simplifying our lives, living in the now, importance of attitudes towards stress, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural approach) and change the situation v change your reaction.
Duration: 1 – 1.5 hrs
ROAD TO
RESILIENCE
Resilience, the term used to describe the process that one takes to recover from or bounce back after a setback or stressful event. Using a strengths-based approach we explore past resilience, helping participants to identify which behaviours helped them from ‘bouncing back’ and building awareness to areas for personal development.
The objectives of this session are:
- How to build resilience in stressful situations
- How to receive negative feedback
- How to communicate and analyse team failures
- The importance of supportive teams
Duration: 1 hour
