WORKPLACE CHAMPION

This training session is specifically designed to build awareness of workplace mental health and to equip attendees with knowledge on this topic. We provide the tools to support an individual during a mental health crisis or during the development of a mental health illness.

Dealing with mental health issues is never an easy task, but is an area that organisations must tackle in a professional and appropriate manner. Mental Health Workplace Champion training will equip you with  knowledge of a range of mental health illnesses, enabling the recognition of common signs and symptoms and an understanding of the general treatment for each.

Finally, we focus on your role as a manager and provide you with a communication framework to facilitate difficult conversations that may be encountered during such times of support.

The objectives of the Mental Health Champion session are as follows:

  • Identify the common workplace stressors.
  • How to spot and approach someone in distress
  • Educating managers and team leads to not cross the barrier of being a psychological professional and dealing with cases in an appropriate manner.
