In recognition of International Men’s Day, we have created a session that shines a light on various important aspects of the male experience, particularly from the point of view of mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Typically, there are a number of skills that have been attributed to men that are seen as acceptable or in line with what it means to be a successful and ambitious man. We take a look at the benefits and skill set of emotional intelligence and how that can help create connections and deepen relationships both in the workplace and outside of the work setting.

  • We take a look at “the untouchables”, emotions that often hold negative connotations for men – ones that we are steered away from, sometimes mocked for, and generally told to hide and suppress.
  • We focus on the challenges surrounding connection, allowing ourselves to be vulnerable – and taking those first steps in building and strengthening relationships around us.
  • Look at how to build allyship with those around us.

Suitable for

Any member with an interest in learning various tools and techniques on how we can look after ourselves to ensure positive wellbeing.

Hear from past participants of our workshops

“Not that I’m on all the webinars by any stretch but that was one of the best in the 12 years I’ve been here.”

“The training gave me a better understanding of different kinds of mental health issues, some of which I was not aware of. The role playing gave me a better insight on how to potentially deal with an issue if it arose”
