Michelle obtained her Hons. Bachelor of Science in Psychology and French Language & Linguistics from the University of Toronto in Canada; her doctoral degree was completed at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. Her final doctoral dissertation explored the impact of social media usage on self-harm behaviours among Irish adolescents and young adults.

Dr. Mitch (she/her) is the Clinical Director here at Zevo. She is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, registered with the British Psychological Society. She obtained her Hons. Bachelor of Science in Psychology and French Language & Linguistics from the University of Toronto in Canada; her doctoral degree was completed at Trinity College Dublin in Ireland. Her final doctoral dissertation explored the impact of social media usage on self-harm behaviours among Irish adolescents and young adults.

Dr. Mitch has a range of experience working with individuals across the lifespan in the community, in hospital and in the workplace. She is an integrative psychologist drawing from evidence-based therapies including, but not limited to, humanistic therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy.

She enjoys exploring values and unhelpful patterns of behaviour, building mastery and coping skills, and guiding individuals towards recognising and using their strengths to improve overall wellbeing. Dr. Mitch aims to provide spaces where all are welcome in both the individual and group setting. Her interventions aim to be accessible for all without prejudice.

When she is not working, Dr. Mitch enjoys reading and watching true crime stories (especially serial killers), learning new therapeutic interventions, writing/journaling, and drinking copious amounts of coffee.
