Education: Lorraine completed a BA in Psychological studies at National University of Ireland, Galway, and subsequently continued her professional training at Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences in 2015, where she studied an MA in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Areas of Expertise: Lorraine is a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and a pre accredited member with the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists (APCP), Ireland.

About Lorraine

Lorraine is a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and a pre accredited member with the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists (APCP), Ireland. Lorraine completed a BA in Psychological studies at National University of Ireland, Galway, and subsequently continued her professional training at Irish College of Humanities and Applied Sciences in 2015, where she studied an MA in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Lorraine has previously worked in a range of settings, including HSE intellectual disability sector, the Department of Education, and private practice. Lorraine has worked with adults, and adolescents from multicultural backgrounds with a broad range of mental health issues, including anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anger, depression, bereavement, trauma, relationship issues, etc.

Lorraine is passionate about helping enable individuals to gain further awareness about their mental health and utilise resources and skills to maintain mental wellbeing.

Lorraine is originally from Leitrim (the best county – her colleagues would all agree). Hobbies include walking, hiking, cycling (once no hills are involved) and spending time with her two ginger cats – definitely a cat person.
